Backyard Ponds

Top Shelf crew member excavating a backyard pond in Nampa, Idaho

Ponds leak, grow algae and need constant care. We pump out the water, pull the liner or break out the preformed shell, remove the pump and plumbing, and haul all of it away. Then we fill and compact the hole so it doesn't settle.

Koi Ponds

Top Shelf pond demolition job at a property in Emmett, Idaho

Koi ponds are deeper and usually have filters, skimmers and bottom drains. We plan the removal around the fish if you're rehoming them, then take out the whole system and the concrete or liner underneath.

I have used Top Shelf several times over the past few years and each time have been very impressed with the service they provide. They arrive on schedule and even send a link to show where they are located prior to your appointment. The employees are very helpful and clean up afterwards. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants hassle free junk removal. I found their prices very reasonable considering the performance they provide.

Outstanding Service by Top Shelf moving and Junk Removal! I used Top Shelf Junk Removal for my move on 08/19/25, and I couldn't be happier with the service. The movers were on time, professional, and incredibly careful with all of my belongings. They worked quickly and efficiently, yet made sure everything was handled with care. The team was friendly and respectful throughout the entire process, making a potentially stressful day go smoothly. I highly recommend Top Shelf Junk Removal to anyone in need of reliable and top-quality moving services. Great job and thank you! Dmitry and Lisa

Very easy to work with Eric, got the job scheduled and crew showed up on time. They were very respectful of our property, did exactly what was agreed upon and left things in very good shape ... very professional. I plan to use Top Shelf Junk Removal again and would highly recommend them for any size job.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most backyard ponds are drained, removed and filled in one day. Large koi ponds or big rock waterfalls can take two.
We'll work around your plan for them. Most people rehome fish before the removal day, and we can wait until they're moved.
Yes. We can stack them somewhere in the yard for you to reuse, or haul them away.
We fill in compacted layers with clean dirt, not loose soil, so it holds up. Lawn or pavers can go right on top.
Yes. We break out concrete ponds and haul the concrete to be recycled.
It depends on the size, what it's built from, how much rock there is, and access. We'll give you one firm price before we start.
